The Tri-City Garden Club strives for equal member representation from Illinois and Iowa. Membership applications require the sponsorship of three members who have at least one year of membership. Applications are submitted to the President who forwards them to the Membership Committee for review. The Board of Directors approves membership.

Each active member serves on a Hostess Committee annually, and as a Hostess Committee Co-Chair once every five years. Every active member must contribute a minimum of five hours of volunteer work each year one or or more of the Club’s community service projects. Regular attendance to meetings is expected.
